It doesn't really matter to me.
I have a limit, not sure if it matters or not.
I won't date anyone more that 2 years older than me or more than 2 years younger than me.

For me its a year age limit but mostly depends on personality and that stuff for me

Lol I read it as "ape gaps in relationships" and my reaction was naturally to click the link XD
No, I'm asexual. I don't want to be with anyone.

Personally, its all about if you like the person or not. Age doesn't matter too much, Its all about the person. I've seen 15 year olds date 24 year olds. And 17 year olds date 13 year olds and what not. But if it works out, it works out. Some people are just meant to be together reguardless of age.

I'd be happy with a few years either way of my age only when I'm older. Like at 14 dating a 11 year old would be wrong. And 14 dating 18 year olds I see quite often and it makes me sick tbh. But like 22 dating 18 or so on would be fine as both people would be mature.

Depends on the person for me but I'm one to usually like people older, than younger. The oldest I've dated is 24 which is my ex 'online' BF.

Yes. I'm not someone to date younger, and I usually date older so they will match my maturity. My girlfriend is older, she's still more mature than me though, but I don't have an issue with it, so I don't know. But when I dated guys, I always, always dated older just so they could be at least at the same maturity. See, I just can't stand immature people. :P

We will brake up the next day if we ever get together :D
Yeah, i would cuz the cuteness of a boy is he would try to take care of you physically but mentally you must take care of him :)

I have always seconded that age should not be a factor to my relationships.
But I concur to syvelocyn opinion.
As maturity and age are 2 entirely different entities.
I would not mind getting together with someone who's 19 but having the same level of maturity and mindset as I do.
In contrast to someone whom is 13 but

I have seen adults of 20s behaving worst than my classmates.
And have seen children younger than I am, with deeper perceptions than I do.
Hence it's not the age which is really the barrier, but the mindset, emotional maturity and physiological maturity VS physical and age maturity.
But it's generally true that girls mature in all expects earlier than guys, hence it becomes a norm for a guy to date a younger girl.
It too does depend on the personaility and character of the partners.

Age gaps when it's people around my age doesn't really bother me. Some people would be completely against me being with a 14/18-20 year old, but I don't see the problem - as long as we're both consenting and it's legal then it should be up to us.

This, if you like each other then what is stopping you? Don't let anybody (besides the law of course) control who you want to be with. It's your life and you should be happy.

I don't see a problem unless you're... older. My boyfriend just turned 20, and I'm turning 17 in February, and it does bother me a bit. It wouldn't be as big a deal if I were 20 and he were 23, but right now I just feel like I have to lie about my age. My boyfriend doesn't mind, and he doesn't even seem like he is 20.

Age gaps doesn't bother me. It is tough around our age cause one or two years can make a huge difference in maturity and as well as for legal issues. Personally, I seem to go for older guys, like with in a yr or two. My most recent bf just turned 18 and it's about the oldest I've gone.

The age gap would change as the age changes for me although the maturity of someone would be a deciding factor also. For example these are the sort of rules I've always followed although never really needed them so far haha
14yo - 2 years younger - 3 years older
15yo - 2 years younger - 3 years older
16yo - 2 years younger - 4 years older
17yo - 2 years younger - 5 years older
18yo - 3 years younger - 6 years older
19yo - 3 years younger - 7 years older
20yo - 4 years younger - 7 years older
21yo - 4 years younger - 7 years older
That's sort of a guideline I would like to follow although as said earlier I would take maturity into account.
