Greatest METAL singer of all time?

Who is, in you're opinion the greatest METAL singer of all time, remember i can only pick 10 out of all metal bands in history so i tried to pick the 10 most influential and memorable metal vocalists. It's metal not hard rock, rock or punk. Thank you in advance.

I understand that Axl Rose and Robert Plant probably don't belong in this genre of music, although they are both incredibly kick ass in their own right, it was my mates idea so that i could fill all 10 spots. Just don't vote for them.

While Axl Rose is crazy ass good, and so is Page, neither of them are remotely Metal imo. Metallica - James Hetfield, where is he at?

I am a HUGE Tarja fangirl. Shame she went all diva on us though. :( Apparently she refuses to even come to the US because the dressing rooms are too small. :P Ah well. I'll have to wait till I move back to England then to see her.

Mmm, yes, I've heard of them. Then of course there's the typical Sharon den Adel, Simone Simons. Hell, I love Anette Olson as well. She's not Tarja, but she's adorable.

Bruce and maiden are the gods of metal and his voice is easily the best. His vocal range and style is unique in the metal genre

Uh, none of these guys. I'd probably choose Niklas Kvarforth, because he has the ability to do really good clean vocals as well. Oh, Justin Broadrick obviously. He doesn't do his intense evil growling vocals anymore like he did on Godflesh, but his voice is really soothing with the music he's been making lately though.

Sure he's been going at it for a long time, but I just don't get how anyone can think of Ozzy as a good vocalist. His voice is a really big turn off in my opinion. Maybe his earlier stuff, but his voice is just so raspy and dull as fucking cardboard to me.

Dio would be my vote here as he always had a great range and talent, Ozzy's voice died a death a fair while ago now in my opinion, and although I don't think Hetfield is amazing but he should be on the list, and perhaps Volbeat's vocalist as they may be on the edge of Metal towards rock but he is one amazing vocalist with an immense range and he's probably my second favourite vocalist of all
