Advice on what I should have done!

So a year ago I moved from West Virginia all the way down to Orlando, Florida. Now before I left there was this girl that I really liked and I had told her on multiple occasions and I guess she just didn't feel that way about me. Well knowing that I liked her a few months after I moved away I get a text from the girl saying that the other night she had sex with my best friend. She knew that he was my best friend and he knew that I had really liked that girl and yet they still had sex with each other and only told me because she "felt so guilty about doing it."

So my question to VT is, what should I have done? (note WV to FL is a 16 hour trip)

First of all, those are some crappy friends. If my best friend did that, I would be so upset. But i hate to say, if you moved, theres not much you can do about it. It is really unfortunate, but unless you are in a relationship with someone, then they are free to be with whoever they want. Im really sorry it was your best friend though, and I would be so angry, so I understand how you feel. Honestly, I would just forget about it. Move forward with your life because you moved to a new place, with new people, and new opportunities. Let the past be in the past (but honestly, I would say "piss off" to the both of them)

are you sure they had sex? she just be trying to make you jealous out of anger or something. you never know with women lol . . . or men.
