Is anyone a fan of Stephen King films and which would be your favorite? I like lots of his but for me it would be Storm of the Century which is a mini-series.

Carrie. One of my favorite movies. IT was pretty good, too, and I'm looking forward to the remake.
I also want to see The Shining and Dolores Claiborne.

If IT was remade I would be pretty angry. There are so many crappy remakes these days that IT would be best left alone unless they made it better than half the movies they make these days.

Carrie was great, but IT made my fear of clowns 1000x times worse.

Being a fan of RHPS and seen that before Tim never really scared me. I do love the whole story of IT though.

Yet, there are some good remakes out there. Just because one version came first does not automatically make it better. Besides, the original IT's ending was so cheesy. I want to see how they redo it. And since it's going to be a movie movie instead of a TV movie, they're free to crank up the violence/horror.

Sure. It's still nice to see it in action.

I think everyone knows that, but the OP is clearly not talking about books here.
