I know i have been gay for a few weeks. I really want to come out but i am just to worried about what will happen. i live near manchester england and it is generally accepting of gay people but i am just so worried and confused does anybody have advice or past experiances of this?

Heyy well i had the same exact problemo as you (though im bi) i was thinking of coming out to everyone over and over and over thinking the exact same things as you 'how will ppl react' and sorts.. Later on after a whole load of thinking i decided to start small so i told my best mate and he was fine with it ( i actually confessed to him like 2 weeks ago lol ) hes the only person ive told so far but im planning to tell more ppl... You should tell ur best truste mate and c how he reacts... But if what u say is true about gays being accepted in ur area then i think u should jus go for it!! If ppl dnt like u for being gay then they are not gd friends... Hope i helped :D

Im going through the same problem as you. I'm bi and from Kent and people are accepting here and I think the best thing to do is come out to your closest friend.

Well if you've only know, for sure, that you're gay for a few weeks then I would definitely wait a while before saying anything to anyone that you know in real life.

As for actually coming out, well... that's up to you. I'd recommend telling your closest few friends first and then see if you actually want everyone to know.
