men should eat like 2 000 calories a day (this is averaged, some people may NEED more like if they're atheletes or something)
unfortunately, women should only be eating 1 500 calories a day (so let your guy friends help you finish off that sundae!)
Im about 98% sure those numbers are correct, or really close (give or take 200 calories)
So there you go! :)

6. Do you consider yourself as over weight? Fuck no

8. Have you ever experimented with celebrity/fad dieting? No reason to.
9. Have you ever taken or considered taking diet pills? Um...
10. How many calories do you think you need to consume to maintain a healthy balanced diet? It depends. A calorie is a unit of measurement. What you think of as a calorie is actually a kilocalorie. One kilocalorie is the amount of energy required to raise the temperature of a litre of water by one degree celcius.
You need to consider what form the calories are in. A potato will be processed faster than table sugar, thus leaving you hungry very quickly. If you consume whole grains you will stay full longer. Weight loss is a balance between healthy eating (as in whole grains and vegetables) and exercise.
It also depends on if you're growing a lot or not. If you have a high muscle mass or you are growing a lot you need to consume more calories in a day than a shrimpy person.
Healthy caloric intake for a teen would be whatever is enough to fill you a bit whenever you feel hungry, and it must be healthy most of the time. You will end up requiring more calories in a day to feel energized if you eat white bread, sugars and starches, rather than whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. Beans are good, too.
About what ThatCanadianGuy said, it is common for a teen to take in 3,000 calories a day during a growth spurt. This may seem ridiculous, but if you get exercise, it's perfectly fine.

EXACTLY!
I'm about 130 lbs and no matter what I eat I DON'T GAIN WEIGHT!
I measured once that I eat about 4 500 calories a day!
This is weird, but I'm growing like crazy so it should be okay for me (I'm 14 and almost 6 feet tall; my doctor says I will probably grow to like 6'3'' or 6'4''!)
So yeah, you can eat more calories than normal when you're a teen (well guys can at least; you girls sure have it rough during these years!)
