Where in your back is it?

Okay, for the one under your shoulder blade specifically, try pulling your right arm across your chest to stretch out your back there. Also try sitting on the floor with one leg straight and the other bent up like you're going to do a sit up and put the arm opposite the bend leg on the outside of your knee while stretching your back. This will often help with some knots. Also, stand up and just bend forward to touch your toes. If you do this the right way, it'll help stretch it out as well. If none of these work at all, I can probably give you more suggestions (I have back issues, so I know a lot haha).

Acetaminophen before you stretch works great for muscle cramp especially ebcause they are anti-inflammatory.

If you don't want to pay for a professional massage you can do a homemade one. This is going to sound weird but trust me, I did it for a guy friend of mine after a sports injury and it worked great. If you have a friend who can do it then get a tennis ball (or something hard the same size) and get them to roll it (firmly but not too hard) over the area where the knot is. If you don't have anyone to do this for you then place two tennis balls inside a sock and then tie a knot in the sock to keep it in there. put the sock on the floor and lay on it so that the tennis balls are in the strained area. then just sort of wriggle so that it massages the area.
