How will you vote in the 2012 election?
If you are not old enough to have your voice heard nationally, go ahead and vote here!

I won't. None of the republican or democrat candidates speak for me.

If the field is still this weak by the time the election comes along, I'll skip it. I have more concerns about local legislations.

Well, here lies the problem: our current president is the strongest candidate for the 2012 presidential election. I however, am convinced that his incompetency and stupidity will do nothing but drive the country further into debt, and ultimately depression. As far as I know, Ron Paul and Mitt Romney are the only republican candidates that could jeopardize the reelection of Obama. When it comes time for the election, I'll weigh the pros and cons of the candidates on the ballot and I'll vote for who I think will do the least amount of damage to our nation. It's sad that I have to think of damage control when voting for my leader, but it seems nobody with any balls wants to run for president these days.

Once I see who the runners are after the 2012 preliminaries, and educate myself on their positions on issues, then I will decide who I'm voting for; Not which party I'm voting for. Voting simply by party rather than educate yourself on all candidates is the dumbest thing to do. You might as well vote with a blindfold on if you're only voting based on party loyalty.

Ron Paul or not at all.

I agree completely, but, in this case, the democratic candidate will be Obama, this means that we really have no choice but to vote republican unless we want the nation to go to hell. Then again, depending on who the republican candidate is, it may not really matter.

I don't plan to apply for citizenship before then. But if I were to, democrat. And if that's Obama, then so be it. I just don't want a conservative president.

Why not vote for him? He was the guy who got the Peace Prize without doing anything after all

I'm voting for Ron Paul in the primary like I did in 2007.

I will explain my reasoning about doing a part vote for now, at this point we don't know for sure who the candidates will be. So for now it's only based on which part you see the strongest candidate in, I did it that way instead of having like ten options for each runner at this time.

Thankfully I won't be affected by this for I am Canadian
But in my opinion Obama is not good for the presidency because he keeps up with tradition of not following his promises. My evidence is he signed a fake billl "house resolution" in his first week in office and failed to adhere to it in the aspect of closing Guantanamo bay, well after 3 years Gitmo is still open and prisoners are still there.
Another spineless idea is his Health Care act
he changed it so much because republicans bitched so much about it and instead of having a spine saying "no this is how it is" he went and shifted far into the middle instead of sticking with his ideals.

I'm voting for whoever the Green party candidate is, unless Jon Huntsman is the Republican nominee (unlikely).

I have to argue with that NOT OBAMA option. He isnt the best president but if u look at it he was left in a shit hole. He did get things moving a bit and hopfully more but he was placed in a situation that he could not himself change that easy. So for everyone hating on Obama think about it a little

I have a feeling Obama will end up getting reelected considering the shitty Republican candidates, and Ron Paul will most likely not win the nomination.

Still too far out to truly judge. I was for Bachmann originally... but ehh I am sure I will change my mind 1,000 times between now and then. But , I will, more than likely, vote Republican
