i think it can pose a problem, but i also don't see a problem with it later in life. by that i mean adulthood. all my friends in school are around 17-18 and i'm 14. it's tough for me to have friends my own age when i'm a senior in high school, so, all the kids my age are in different classes and on a different lunch schedule.

i have friends. lots of them! i'm a popular guy at school and i also play sports which helps a lot. it's just most of my friends are older than i am.

I think it is different if a 12 old person dates a 15 old person or is a 15 old dates a 18 old person or 16 to 19.

So I just think it is retarded at some point.

At our age 3 or 4 years is a huge gap compared to if we were over the age of 18, because a lot happens in 3 years compared to adulthood.

As others said I think it's maturity. Like I'd be done with a 23 year old dating a 27/18 year old. But like in y school a 13 year old dating a 17 year old is just wrong.
