I started getting BO when I was a pudgy little 12 year old. So of course I started wearing deodorant. It's been fine for 3 years, until now. I've noticed that lately, at the end of the day, my armpits are smelly. I haven't changed anything at all. Same deodorant, same daily activities, same sweaty armpits. So I'm wondering if it's happened to anyone else where they just start smelling. Its not nearly as bad as if I don't wear deodorant, its more just like a funky smell. Anyone have this happen?

it happens to me and i'm a little guy. try bringing some with you like the other guy said. throw it in your backpack and put it on through out the day. also, make sure you are using an anti persperint as well as deodorant. i used a deodorant called, certain dry, for awhile and it really helped me out. now i use dove for men and it works really well!

Try other deoderants as well. As you get older, you may sweat more. I find Adidas deoderant works great for me.

All I can say is shower a lot, rather than just using deo.

Try a new deodorant / if you're not using one already use a roll-on anti perspirant. To be honest shaving your arm pits helps a LOT if there's any hair there: all the sweat sticks onto it.

My brother had that problem, he switched from a jell to a solid? it made a difference.

Well you're going to sweat more now than you did when you were 12 because you're going through/went through puberty. As others have said, try using an anti-perspirant to effectively stop you sweating as much and if you need to carry deodorant around with you then do. Plus showering in the morning, if you don't already, and when you get in from school is going to make you cleaner in general.

Deodorant/Antiperspirant,,I prefer old spice but have AXE products as well. I mix them up...I would just try a different brand and as you grow..(puberty).. I'm sure the internal body changes and it may be a phase that your body is going through

Happens to all of us believe me. Just try a diff kind of deodorant, some work better than others for sure. Just think long and hard before you shave them?? No going back

Try different kinds. And use antiperspirant. Because if your armpits are sweaty and you usually use regular deodorant then it will pretty much get rid of the deodorant smell and smell nasty.

Yeah I can't really wear antiperspirant though. I sweat even with it, and if I do wear it I end up getting pit stains on my shirts.

I think it must have just been nerves for starting high school. I was eating alot that week too. But, this first week of school, I haven't smelled at all, except for after PE, which didn't surprise me. I can shower after PE though, so if I stink I'll have to do that.

Use a solid not that clear stuff. It could also be your diet. You sweat out what you put in? Just a thought

As said before, a change to anti-perspriant would be a good idea.

Like I said antiperspirant makes pit stains for me.
