So this is a rant/ question for everyone

I absolutely cannot stand being ignored. I like people being straight forward with me, and being ignored is just cowardly. That goes for someone not wanting to date me/ not wanting to talk to me or anything else for that matter. I would have so much more respect for someone that said "Hey, I just don't feel like us being friends is working out" than the person that just says nothing at all. Point being, does anyone else hate being ignored and just want straight up honesty? Do other people feel this way?

I feel the exact same thing, you know? In fact, I talked to the friends in my group and they agreed too, so we started doing it, after a stupid episode where we had a friend who couldn't face the harsh truth.

I absolutely hate being ignored. It pisses me off and it really hurts. If somethings wrong, I know something is wrong. When somebody replies with the shortest replies ever and uses the dreaded "k" then they are making it obvious that something is bothering them, but then when you ask them whats wrong they either get mad or saying nothing is wrong. It just pisses me off so much. If something is wrong, and you're making is obvious to me. then tell me.

(you, your, ect. is being used in general.)

I've always feel that a complete text reply, would prove that the person has at least given some thought into the messages.

Generally if I'm asking a question, I don't make them too precise, so there is room for others to reply to.
I too am very peculiar about texting, and would expect that person to reply in 15.

Regardless how busy a person may be, it's going to take less than a minute to say, "hey I'm a little bz at the moment, chat later."

I understand your frustrations on being totally ignored, its as if we are barking at the wall, making us feel really stupid.

But this is quite a personal matter, some people dont enjoy texting, but are able to yak till the sun comes out.
Guess it depends on how much you know that person and his texting habits.

Cheers

aghh exactly. I dont even care about the texting, i mean it would be nice, but Im not asking for much. All i want is some acknowledgement, and if they dont want to acknowledge me, then atleast tell me why. It drives me insane. If i dont like someone, then they know it. I dont dance around the subject. I just cannot stand when people do not do the same for me in return. Makes me so angry.

i think it depends on the person and the situation. i don't tend to notice people often. i'm very to myself and not on an emotional level with people to really care. i try, but my brain isn't wired that way, literally.

I've been ignored whilst dating and it gets pathetic. One time I dated someone, went somewhere with them for an hour and they were too 'scared' to talk to me. I mean... lame huh?

i personally have never had that, my friendships, if they even end in the first place, end through fights mainly, and otherwise the friend and i just start talking less and less (over facebook and in real and no texts) and eventually we dont talk at all. :/ i would absolutely hate it if anyone ever did something to me like that, i would probably start following them to finally pull out what he/she wants to say...

I hate this! We're in the same boat... You go through it over and over again until it drives you mad! Just talk to me so I know the truth :'(
