Possibly September, or a little later. It's already late, because the iPhone 4 released June last year.
I've heard there's an announcement pending at the beginning of September regarding the 5th Generation of iPhone/iPod Touch.

Apple doesn't usually release dates like that, it just happens.
And people are saying it could be anywhere from mid september to early october.

Usually in Sept, but Apple is very tight lipped on releasing dates so just keep checking back on their site and sometimes tech sites may get a day or 2 heads up about a conference or announcement coming up.

now rumors say more toward october than september, but again, it's just a rumor and we won't know until apple actually announces it.

iOS5 is being released at the fall which I believe begins some-where around the 23rd September, so i'm presuming it'll be around then/October time, look forward to it though ;)
