By that I mean not the major pieces, by Beethoven and Bach etc. What are not very well-known classical music that you like?

My favorites are from soundtracks:

Clint Mansel's score from the film The Fountain. << This is out of soundtracks. As of ordinary musicans -- I really don't have one to pick.

From the movie "The tale about a star-child" based off Oscar Wilde's story. c: (It's a Russian movie and the soundtrack is incredible! And so is the movie)

(This is just a random one I found by the same composer... it's gorgeous)
The composer for both of these pieces is Alexey Rybnikov

Now a few stuff by Igor Kornelyuk....
This is his stuff from a Russian Series based off the book "Master and Margarita" by Mikhail Bulgakov.

Not a single one of those is classical :/

Jupiter - Bringer of Jollity ~ Gustav Holst (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3B49N46I39Y&feature=related)
And pretty much all of The Planets for that matter.

I beg to differ. The term "classical music" encompasses many different forms of music, with various different instruments. Just because the music is different from the traditional piano-violin etc. setup, does not make it any less classical. These pieces are created by conductors and played by orchestras.

That piece was very beautiful.

Well believe it or not I went through every single video you put in your first post-the one that was a link to destructive classical music. It completely creeped me out. Felt a bit like the music was being deformed...if that even makes any sense. Not my style, but I can appreciate it.

In this new post I listened to all but the first one, which I'll save for a rainy day, when I don't have much to do. I liked these better, though.

I generally prefer soundtrack music because it gives me emotion, not just beauty and/or complexity, as it reminds me of the things that the characters were going through (such as anger, loss, happiness). There are some incredible pieces by Yiruma and Pachelbel though, that I really like, but I didn't think they'd fit in the category of "non-famous."

Oh and school hasn't begun for me yet, so no need to worry about homework. Thanks for posting. :)
