For me it is Pete Murry, absolutely love his work, such a great singer, incredible songwritter and just has great great songs.

My favourite all time artist is/was The Middle East. Their first LP which was a kind of folk/post-rock with some ambient piece is my favourite album. They've split up now.

Then there's Solkyri, a post-rock band, a song of whose I've posted in the under-appreciated artists thread. Apart from those two favourites, I also like/don't mind Boy & Bear, Leader Cheetah, Cloud Control, and Firekites.

That's so true man, really started getting into Chisel this year, 'Forever Now' is one of my favourite songs currently, and i am also going at the end of the year to haha, thanks for the comment ;)

Hahahaha yes im pumped to see Jimmy live, i heard he has had some health issues recently but from what i heard there is nothing that's going to stop him from making the dates, so excited. And yes 'Flame Trees' is not only Chisels best song (in my opinion) but also one of the best songs of all time.

I don't know many Australian artists/bands, but right now, at the top of my head, Tame Impala. Psychedelic rock, for real.No, they try to emulate the sound of the Sixties' psychedelic rock, not the current style of psychedelic rock. They are not bad, not super, either.
