Johnson & Johnson KY Lubricant Jelly is what I use when I use any. It is a medical, first aid, and therapeutic lubricant used by doctors and patients. Cheap and easy for kids to purchase right next to the condom display. True, KY has recently introduced all kinds of sex lubricants, to get in on that market also $$$$$.

But the only important thing is that KY is water based, and it cleans up in a flash. Five seconds standing in front of a sink, and you're done. I'm sure there are others, probably more expensive and strawberry flavored, that are water based too.

Vaseline, oils, and other kinds of "grease" require hot water, soap, and a lot of effort to clean up. I have heard of Vaseline protecting bad bacteria underneath the lubricating layer, and allowing a rash or worse to develop, in extreme cases of poor hygiene.
