I think maybe to help prevent new people from coming here to ask for camming and stuff it could be helpful if contact info was only available for them to type in until a person has reached a certain amount of posts...

Which, I really don't have an opinion on, so I'll leave it at that. :P

I think it should be the reverse and the present idea. They shouldn't be allowed to view others or supply their own information. After all, this is a help site, they'll be okay subtracting the social aspect of it.

Perhaps not allowing users with 50/100 posts to view others contact info or edit their own would prevent some of the lazy people from being able to add people. Makes sense when the PM limit is already in place.

If you had a 50 post limit before you could post contact info, it would be a good idea.

But I am not sure whether you cab with vBulletin. I think you can, but I am not sure

I'v e had a quick look around for a mod that sounds similar to this but I couldn't find anything - if some one that knows about vBulletin was to search around there's probably something I missed.

That is true, sadly. It's been relatively well received by everyone it's just a matter of finding out if it's actually possible.

this is a good idea but if it is possible its probably gunna cost us to upgrade or something like that which is gunna be alot of money which adminnis dont have.
