so guys, i was watching a tv show with my foster sister and there was a transgender person on it. it was a girl who wanted to be a guy. she used the guys restroom and it made another guy really uncomfortable.
this made me start thinking how i'd feel. i wouldn't be comfortable with that either. having a girl in the guys restroom is wrong in my opinion. so what do you guys think?
do you think transgender people should be allowed in the opposite sex's restroom? should they remain in their sex's restroom? or use a seperate restroom, like in an office or something?

Let me guess, you were watching Degrassi, right? I totally love that show.
Anyways, it wouldn't bother me at all. I don't know any TG's in real life, but I realize that it must be a tough road. Makes being gay a walk in the park in comparison.

I dont know any TG people either. But if they have already had the final surgery done, I dont see what the problem is.....in a lot of cases, you cant even tell the differences. So I really wouldnt care.

they should use whatever one they feel comfortable with i mean its just a bathroom but i guess it also depends on how far along they are i mean if a cross dresser went into a woman's bathroom well then that's just wrong but if the male has breasts and changing voice then he should be welcomed.

I don't think it would really bother me that much, I am pretty open, but I would be lying if I said it wouldn't make me kind of akward. If "he" had surgery, I would probably be more comfortable. But the idea of a "guy" coming in and using the urinal with a vagina, would just be weird to me.

i'm not sure what we were watching, but apparently this girl is wanting to be a guy and she doesn't look or sound male at all. and then she was using some weird device to stand up to pee.
if surgery had been done, or i didn't know they were trans, i don't think i'd care either. but if they made it known they are trans, i think i'd have big problems with it. i would have problems to the point of violence, or that would be my fear. i'm a fairly open guy generally, but this would be way too much. i mean if a girl still has a girl parts, then they should use the girls room and they same with a male, even if they are trans. or they should use an office bathroom or something.

Yupp, that's Degrassi, a show on Teen Nick. That show likes to push the envelope, by exploring gay relationships, teen pregnancies, and things of that nature.
I guess the reason I wouldn't have a problem with the bathroom thing is 'cuz I'm not really attracted to girls. So if a guy (even a trans guy) wanted to watch me do my thing, hey, more power to him.

i think it would be more of the political correctness of it for me maybe. i'm not real sure. just seeing a guy walk in with boobs, who is too thin for boobs, or has obvious girl boobs, would be too much for me.

Damn.. Yeah that would freak me out. I agree, they should use the bathroom of which their natural born gender uses. Otherwise.. just f*cking strange.

it's nice to know it's not just me. it's a difficult issue for sure! i'd have to say that in all honesty, i'd fight against it if it was happening.
