Dreamed of self harm

I had a dream that my dad flipped out on my mom sis and i and i went into the bathroom and cut all over my arm, the worst thing is i could feel the pain on my arm. IDK i kind of felt a release until i woke up. this is kinda awkward.

Have you self harmed in the past? It may just be a replay of the feelings you are having...but, if you have never self harmed...maybe you are thinking of VT. I have had alot of thoughts influenced from the VT self-harm area...not too pleasant.

Nope i self harmed im 6 months clean
But i dont know if i can hang on anymore

Have you been thinking a lot about self harm? Usually your dreams are a collection of your thoughts during the day, just manifested in a weird way.

Just remember, this was a dream. You're stronger than just a dream. You've done so well, 6 months clean, that's unbelievable. Keep going.

I have dreamt about self harm numerous times, just don't let it trigger you into a relapse cause your doing amazingly! Remember it's only a dream.

Oh don't worry. Sometimes I dream about getting tortured and I can actually feel it. I thought it was real. But like Fran said, don't go back there. A dream's a dream. Keep up the good work you've been doing <3
