Camp and showers

Ok so here is my problem, I have camp next week and this year we get one shower, (previous years camp was survival like) and the showers are all open and there are no cubicles, I am just a little self conscious and what should I do. Apparently showering is compulsory.

Also it's a year 9-12camp everyone is together

Dont worry about it. At the school I am at, we have communial showers, so I am used to it. But when I first had to do it, I was nervous as anything, but after talking to my classmates, we were all in the same position.

You will get used to it eventually

just blank ur mind. Strip off and head in to them. Shower and dry off. You'll get used to it

Everyone else is probably just as nervous as you. Try and not get too nervous and just go in, get washed and then leave. I know it sounds simple but if you think too much about it then it is just going to make it worse.

Just look in front of you and just shower. Your not the only guy who's going to feel that way. If you know any of the guys there, and they seem nice, then they don't really have anything they need to say to you in there, so don't worry.

Since its not a matter of choice, just get it done as fast as you can. And move out of the showers.

Its a camp, the open bathing concept is common at camps, guess you've got to live with it.
Wearing your undergarments to bathe can be a viable option,
Im sure when the time is here you would work a way around it.

If you're like me, small is the problem (not modesty). Play with it in your pants, yank on it, just before disrobing. Then be quick about the shower. Remember a large number of them are also new to public nudity.

I would not recommend that because then the OP (or anyone) would probably be made fun of for being self conscious etc...

Im also very self-conscious like you especially when it comes to showers, but dude who isn't in their first time? You're camp might have ended already but I bet it wasn't that bad.

Just don't think about it. Nobody will say anything and a lot of the other guys are probably thinking the same thing. If anyone even says anything, it's often taboo anyways. Just ask them why they were looking in the first place!
