The last house on the left is good. This guy gets his hand shoved down a sink garbage disposal and a head gets exploded in a microwave.

Also the Australian movie called Wolf Creek is good. Its based on a true story

Since you're young I won't suggest Human Centipede. lol

If you want something interesting try out the Nightmare on Elm Street series and possibly both 2001 Maniacs. Not sure what rating they're for you though. But both are amazing.

Definitely nightmare on elm street! Insidious is the best new horror movie I've seen in a while. Haunting in connecticut is pretty good and the exorcist if you're into classics. Hope this helps :)

I think the nicest horror movies are those whom you don't really see the ghost.
Keeps the suspense, minus the exaggerations.

Something like amytiville series, exorcism of Emily rose, incendious.
Keeps me at my seat, hugging whatever that I can.
Although I have yet to watch the fabled "Exorcist" the first one with linda Blair

Personally I loved The Strangers. It had Liv Tyler in it (I think she is beautiful) and the plot was just freaky.
I also loved The Blair Witch Project. I was great, if you don't mind characters filming it.

I've only seen part of it once. It was rather ... retarded. XD

Only the Child's Play movies were remotely scary, the Chucky movies. Bride and Seed were funny as fuck!

THE CLASSICS

I find it hard to watch them and get scared, they seem more comedy like to me but they're good films and they're unique. Most films nowadays are either cheap, not scary and have no good plot to them or they're the same plot, different film.

One of the new horror movies that freaked me out was Dead Silence (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=enmZa4XrIHI), much more gripping than I imagined it to be.

I never found serial killer/zombie movies scary at all, probably because none of them are no matter how hard the directors try to make them. Still straight up fun to watch though.

Yeah, I can't really get scared by zombie movies. I like ones that are filled with suspense and give you frights lol :P

Von Trier's 2009 film Antichrist is by far the craziest horror movie i've seen in a while. It has Charlotte Gainsbourg and Willem Dafoe in it. It can be pretty offensive to some people. Its more artsy though than horror.
