i know wot it feels like cos i had surgery on my foot last year, the nurses had me on bout 3 different meds i think, they all made me feel like that. i ended up takein bout 5 in an hour wen i got home from the hospi, but after i did i had to go back cos i passed out, and i felt sick for days weeks. they also said i came way too close to a coma. resist the temptation as much as you can.

DON'T DO IT

More than likely it's Hydrocodone (Lortab, Vicodin). The reason it feels like you're on drugs is because you ARE on drugs. It's a narcotic analgesic, and an opiate derivative. It is habit-forming and if you're clinically depressed, you shouldn't be abusing anything.

it could also be codene, which is usually given to patients comming off of morphine. Take your medication AS DIRECED BY DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST. DO NOT take more than youtr recomended dose. you could go into a coma, and even die

the only real problem with doing that is, you could get addicted then go through withdrawl when you run out which isent fun. unless you took a huge amount and od'd which is pretty unlikly.

Sounds to me like an opiate which, yes, is a drug. It probably is codeine which is related to heroin and naturally, be very careful with anything related to heroin.

the only thing that connects the two is that they both contain opium. if you had a steady supply and it wasent costing you alot of money then there wouldnt be much of a reason to stop using it,but you probably dont so i suggest cutting down slowly for the next few weeks to avoid withdrawl.

Neither heroin nor codeine contain opium. Heroin is a morphine DERIVATIVE, and morphine is derived from opium. It's not the same to say they contain opium. The only thing that contains opium is opium.

Codeine doesn't metabolize into morphine, so I hardly consider it an opiate.

i have decided to NOT take them for anything other then pain on my foot.
i realized that i would just be damaging myself.
thank you for your help.
and i HIGHLY advise NO ONE to take prescription meds as a way to get high/.

Oxy and Hyrdocodone are both opiates, and percs like those become very addictive, so its a good choice u stopped. Opiates dont mean they contain opium lol

i used to steal my moms Vicodin and i kno how it feels. but my mom found out and tried to stick me in rehab. i didnt wanna go but i admitted i needed hlp and got counseling. im btr now and clean.. well besides the occasionally binge drinking. but get out b4 you get in ovr your head. i loved how i could be happier and more fun w it but no, not worth what it could cost.
