this person i met on world of warcraft is real cool to me. weve had some epic moments and stuff, but he moved to another server. and he wants to adventure with me again, he says he will gimme 6 months game time. because i can't afford to keep playing, but only if i join his server, he said he will pay for the server change, and he also says he will get me known on his server, etc. should i give him my password and let him do it? ive known him for a year now.

If you haven't actually met the guy, definitly not. You never give passwords to strangers. You don't know what they are hiding

You know, it might work out for you, and he might be who he says he is, but I don't think think its worth the risk.

No, definitely not. You don't know him well enough, you can't trust people that say they'll pay for this or that. Don't do it

Uh, I've actually done this before and it's worked out for me. I had the same concerns as everyone else, and hell, it worked. Has he ever tried to get your password before?

Have you ever had any suspicions that he's simply trying to steal your account?

Do it. You can allways retrive your wow acc with your e-mail and security question and he can't know that. So if he trys to steal your acc you simply retrive it with this, or call wow on skype and verify your acc. So you can get your wow acc payed, and if not, you wont lose it anyway... :)

I wouldn't give my ID to anyone I'm not 100% sure is reliable.

I used to play WoW too, before catalysm,
Well, it really depends how much you trust him, but by looks of it, nah.
6 months of game play is not too difficult to save up, just maybe 50 cents a day?
Im sure it would be sufficient.

Apprerciate his offer, but try to get it up on your own, its for the best.

If you use the same e-mail/password for several things, change your password to something different first. If you don't mind running the risk of being scammed, go for it. I don't know much about WoW if your account has any personal info/credit card info, take it off if possible.
