I just had some cheese. And it was flavored like bacon. I had no idea that people flavor cheese with meat! Anything else cool about cheese that I didn't know?

No, it was ivory colored with a brown edge. I don't know what it's called exactly, just that it is cheese and delicious. There aren't bits of bacon in it ether. It just has a delicious bacony flavor. :)

Why would a vegetarian eat bacon flavored cheese?

Because that dont get meat. (other side its meat flavored, that's like eating meat) I understand both points of view... but neither makes sense. Because first we need to make sense of bacon flavored cheese.
