More acceptable? I mean, if you're not comfortable with the thought of anal masturbation, then I'd suppose you wouldn't do it in the first place. Gay guys are basically naturally comfortable with the fact (or obvious reasons), but I myself don't do it often because it's too much of a hassle and it's not that exciting when I do it to myself... Not to mention I don't want to hurt anything down there...

Im straight and wouldnt ever want to masturbate anally, but i don't think its wrong for a straight guy to. It really just depends on what you want to do, and its not wrong, no matter what your orientation.
