Opps, I stuffed up

So, I told this marvelous guy how I feel about him, not knowing whether he was gay/bi/straight because it's not something often spoken about at my school. After doing so, I (pathetically) pleaded him to not tell anyone, his reply? "dude just relax just leave it alone"

Since I told him, he hasn't said a word to me and I fell that he avoids contact with me. What's worst though, is that he never told me what he thinks of me liking him, so what are your oppinions on the situation? What would you do if it was you? Is there are chance he likes me at all, but he's just scared of me?

Maybe just message him on /a text or something, just a normal hi, get talking again. It sounds as if he doesn't know what to think/how to react. He said "leave it alone" I guess you could take that as leave the whole thing alone and don't act on it but you can't be sure about that. You'll probably be getting mixed arguments about this, I think the best and only way you'll get a real answer is if you start talking to him.
