Hmm. My mother smokes occasionally. (But she either does it in her room with the door closed or on the balcony) How often do your parents smoke? If possible, maybe try to go outside or go to a different room. After they're done smoking, suggest that they air out the room. (Or do it yourself) if they smoke only once a day it shouldn't be a problem...

Hmm... that's a toughie... they know about the health risks they are putting you under, correct? If they smoke it throughout the whole day then try to stay in a different room more and maybe go outside more.... if they smoke three cigs an hour then it shouldn't be that hard to avoid smoke. (Unless they walk all around the house.) Good luck is all I can say for now...

my parents dont smoke but some guests that we hold from time to time do. Best thing i have found is not to be in the same room as they smoke in and reguraly use Febreze or a product like it on sofas chairs curtians rugs ect also add a bit more deordrant

Also suggest you do your own laundry and ironing as think the clothes will not be in the room that long and you can do it at your lesuire.

An air ionizer! That would be the most costly yet most efficient way to remove the smell.
But honestly, i'd suppose theres nothing much you can do, they do have a right to smoke in their own house.

Its either you get an air freshener, but pretty much thats it.
Or you can walk out of the house when they are smoking, but thats quite a hassle.

But if your gf understands the situitation you are in, im sure she would and should be more accomodating.

Try using those air scent things that are always on tv commercials? Try using cologne

my friends put whatever clothes they are going to wear for the day in the dryer with a dryer sheet with cologne on it. it doesn't take it completely away, but it seemed to help, a lot. maybe that will help you?

ask them to not smoke in your room n keep your door closed so the smoke dont go in your room n keep your room aired out much as possible... my dad smokes but never in the house n not that much either he might have 2 or 3 a night n goes outside or in the garage
