I just miss having the releif
and i miss not having my emotions revealed easily
i miss just hiding in a corner

Why don't you go for a run or something. Go box...Go for a LONG walk. All safer methods to cope. I got into drugs to deal with my shit. Now I'm out and I work out, and stay active. Helps me more

Its not pathetic, i've not s/h a long time now and i still get cravings. You just need to do something to distract yourself.

yeah i know the feeling. You just have to get through it, ive been told by people who have got alot better that the feeling that your missing something goes away... you just have to stick with it :/ sorry I couldnt be more useful. Just try keep busy. xxx

Again, keep yourself busy. Plan a daily schedule so theres no time for self harm. I've seen that keeping people around you is a great way to distract you. Talk to someone about it if you need.
A tip is to set a goal, say "Im not going to get my release or relaxor from self harm for (timeframe)." Print out a bunch of papers that say "DAY ___" and staple them, each day rip one off. Feel that accomplishment.
If you do turn to self harm again, for example on day 22, say to yourself that it was awesome, and it wasn't a failure, just an early attempt at success.
