Be yourself. That's all I've got to say. Don't pretend to be someone you're not because then you'll be alienated from whatever friends you might make. Do your work, take classes you like, and have some damn fun. Some of the best years of your life right here, live it up!

I was a little nervous when I started 9th last year but it was no big deal. The first thing I noticed was the people are bigger but I didn't get hassled or anything. Ended up making a bunch of new friends so that was cool. Just be confident in yourself and everything will be good dude. ;)

Just go with the flow. It really doesn't take that long to get used to it all. Do you have friends going to the same school?

I sound crazy and nerdy or whatever you want to say, but honestly, listen to your teachers and coaches, most of the time their right.
Also, there's way more positives about high school than negatives, like freedom, friends, and sports!!!

make sure you know where all your classes are, but don't worry high school is nothing like how they portray it on t.v

Just focus on the purpose why you're actually there. Study hard, and try to find a few people who you can really trust. Don't worry if you feel alone, because everyone does feel that! Don't do things you won't want your parents to read in a newspaper about you. Have fun also from time to time :)

Its cheese but just be your self and you will find where you fit in. If you try to hard or "lie" about who you are it will cause you alot of stress, and you wont be able to do it for long. Just be yourself

Don't become completely dependent on the school system for your education. We live in an age where you have the resources of a million libraries at your disposal with only a few key strikes and mouse clicks. Don't take that for granted.

Don't worry about high school! It's much better than middle school, at least in my opinion. Work hard, join some clubs, and you'll pick up friends along the way. :)

I just got into high school, last week in fact. Everyone tells me this, so I basically follow these guide lines and it seems to work well for me.
