how many people do you know that also self harm?

i was just curious, because i know 6 people who self harmed before or still do, only two of them know about me though :/

My friend Kim. I told her I had cut, in completely confidence, and she had cut because "I did and she remembered me doing it and thought she could do it too." She was flaunting the cuts on her arm like it was nothing.

My friend Zach. His were reeeally deep, though. Once again, he was showing them off like it was nothing. But he's into pain and stuff, at least that's what he told me, idk.

I hate them both now.

Everyone in my class does it. It sounds demented or something, but it's true.
They all started because of me.
Sometimes I feel bad about, while other times I just think about how stupid they must be, to think it's cool. One of these days they'll do it too badly, and it will be their fault, not mine.

Out of those 4, one of them sorta bragged about it, and made a huge deal... so idk what to think.

So, this is just counting the people I know who've cut outside of treatment things I've been to.

I know of 4 people. But only one of them is addicted, the other three just did it to try it I guess, cause they knew I did it. I'm supportive but still they think I'm "stupid" for doing it.. Which I don't understand.

One that´s in hospital and is in recovery, and would self harm quite often, and one that´s only done it a few times when she´s been going through a particularly hard time.

I´ve seen a few people around school that I suspect, but I don´t know for sure if they do.

I know three, two girls who cut and one girl who took an overdose in order to make herself sick not sure if that counts though. The one girl who cuts knows i do too, but she has been possibly the most unhelpful to me out of everybody so :/

about 10, it's so much more common than anyone would ever think. apparently a third of people do it in their lives at some point. really wouldn't surprise me either
