GIMP Graphics?

Does anyone use GIMP to make graphics?

Most of these are just text effects, basic really.

My suggestion is to go online and invest some time into studying tutorials and applying them to your work. After you've done that, I'd suggest opening a sig shop in OW and trying to get some practice there.
Also, with the first, don't just cut out random chunks, learn to render it or don't even try.

inb4 "You're bashing me." No, I'm not. I couldn't do SHIT when I started with graphics, it just takes practice.

I use Photoshop now and consider that to be garbage, but still.

If you have a passion for this kind of stuff, then just work at it and soon you'll be able to do more than you ever thought possible.

Umm... They look good but i do aggre with Origami. I tried using Gimp but I coudnt work with it, guess i was to used to Photoshop.

This. They are mostly text effects, fairly generic... but not bad. And as for the first one, I would try to smooth in the additional graphics/render them like Origami said.

pretty good, i suggest investing in photoshop, its a much better program than gimp in my opinion and that can only make your graphics look even better.

I have used photoshop cs3, and I know how it is. I use Linux now, and GIMP is the other alternative. And I will reassure you, that what all it takes is getting use to it.
