Narcolepsy??

ok, so i recently found out that i might have Narcolepsy, its a rare sleeping disorder. so this morning i tried to talk to my mom about it before she went to work, at first she didnt believe me, but i explained to here that i have every symptom and its very posible, she told me she used to have one of the symptoms when she was a kid. so it might be genetic? anyways, she brushed it off like it was nothing, i still havnt been able to talk to her about what Narcolepsy really is and that it shouldnt be taken so lightly. or am i just over reacting? please give me some advice! :confused:

i think if u have half of the symptons u should see a doctor and you should ask ur mum to take u to the doctor and maybe u should google narcolepsy and find out more like i did

the thing is, i have researched it and i have all the symptoms. me and my mom dont have medical care yet, so it'll be a while till i can see a doctor :/

go see a doctor. It is really easy to mis diagnose yourself especially if you are searching knowing that you might be narcoleptic. Your mom was probably just busy at the moment and if she had those symptoms as a kid and she grew out of them you will probably be fine. But you really should go see a doctor. If you are uncomfortable about going without your mom knowing, most places in the u.s. wont tell your parents if you ask them not to and you are over 13 years old.
