Well, any way I would say to lube and ensure there are no imperfections in the surface, such as splinters ect. Also be carefull not to go too big or you could do some serious damage.

I'd agree, such things don't accidentally happen, regardless how lathered your finger is.
But I'd assume it's accidental, to be honest , there's always a certain amount of risk putting foreign objects in places they don't belong.

It would cause rupture if forced or the sharp ends may cause abrasion.
But I'd suppose it's ok as long as you know your limits.
Else you would be in a minefield of potential embarrassment if you are to see a physician to tell him what you may have did wrong.

Whether it was accidental or not, yes, there are precautions you should take.
You should go slowly at first, and use plenty of lube so that nothing tears in there, you wouldnt want to have to explain that to anyone :)

OP: use lubricant and don't put anything sharp/too big in there. You want to try to loosen it up with your finger if you're going to masturbate anally or you could damage some of the tissues inside just by sticking something in.
