I was abused by an older woman. She got me drunk and I was only 13 at the time. I didn't teel anyone because I feared it would turn out this way. I am 17 now. I wanted to say for different reasons. I told a close relative what happened but I guess I did in the wrong way. I got too emotional. But I couldn't really stop it my emotions as it wasn't something I really talk about. Asked if this was joke that was the closest point for him to believe me.. Now my whole family knows and I get all these questions like why didn't I stop her. Or how could she sexually assault me. Like I caused it on myself. I feel so much worst. Like they're ashamed of me and I wish I would've just kept quiet and no one believes it actually happened. I didn't tell about the whole pregnancy thing I think they'd actually call me crazy then. I just feel stupid for thinking anyone would believe. It's not like I have evidence of any sort. I knew I was stypid for not telling right away but I felt I was in the wrong for getting drunk. But if only I knew then what I know now. Now I just made it worst.

You know what hun? What they think doesn't matter. Sometimes people react to situations like that by denying and laughing, because they don't know what else to do. It's the type of situation most humans are unable to understand without experience.
You didn't cause it on yourself, you were 13 years old, and she was old enough to know better. It's not your fault and even if they are your family, don't let them make you feel like it was.
If you want any form of justice, you could go to the police, but maybe just find someone you can vent it out to? A close friend? Or if you want feel free to PM me :)
It'll get better eventually, but as long as you know the truth, and you find a way to face it, anyone elses opinion will never matter. Sure, it's nice to have the comfort, but sometimes we have to comfort ourselves to get through things :hug3:

I think it's because she's a woman and I am stronger than her now I wasn't though at 13 especially weakened by drinking. I don't know I think that's why they act as if it's ridiculous.

Like I said, you know the truth and that's all that counts. Their laughing is just due to them not really knowing how to react at all. If you need to vent it out, find someone to vent it out with who will believe you, although it may not necessarily be they don't believe you, they just don't want to :hug3:
