UGLY

I step into the bathroom
And quietly close the door
I look into the mirror
And slide onto the floor

My nails dig into flesh
The scars a cruel reminder
The tears start rolling down
And the world becomes a blur

I push myself back up
And my fists meet the mirror
The scissors mark my hideous body
And the cuts get deeper, deeper

I glare at my reflection
And wish I couldn't see
A hateful voice screams in my head
You're ugly, ugly, ugly
