She knows, and she keeps brining it up!...

My best friend knows about my SH. I stupidly told her.

We were drunk and walking around our old school and 2 in the morning and she said how the best days of her life were at this school. I think the complete opposite.

I was bullied there and hated my life, it's where my first suicidal thoughts grew. I told her this as well as my SH and she started to cry.

I ran off and didn't mention it the rest of the night.

She brought it up the next morning and I just shrugged it off hoping she'd forgotten.

I then stayed at her house last night. We were reminiscing and in fits of laughter when she brought it up again!!! Why dosnt she understand I don't wana talk about it!!!

I don't know what I should do. She's a bit of a gossip and so I dot really wana tell her, plus I just find it awkward... But she won't stop bringing it up! What should I do??

Maybe you should tell her that this is a touchy subject for you and that you don't want her to talk about it unless you bring it up? :/

She only does that because she really cares for you and she wants to help. But I'm sure you know that. You could try telling her it's better if you don't talk about it cause it really hurts to. And when you do need her, you know she's there, she's willing to help. Take care, kay? I'm here if you need me.

i am in exactly the same boat!
my friend saw something a few months ago and has never let it go and she brings it up at the most inappropriate times mostly when one of us has had a drink.
has she seen it?
if she hasnt maybe you can twist it and say you said you used to and now your over it. make you feel a bit better
but at the end of the day the cats out the bag and your cant take it back. you need to push yourself and tell her
or find out what she wants to hear and tell her that (works for me) and then it will die down.
