She sounds like Gwen, but angrier.

I'm personally not a fan, can't stand her vocals, something about them just rubs me the wrong way.

And I don't think anyone but another obsessed fangirl would agree that's she's the best artist ever. Many artists have come before her, and done what she's done, many of them better. I'm trying to place the name of the female punk singer around the times of The Sex Pistols...but it evades me.

I think her new song Girlfriend is kinda stupid. I mean it's not the kind of music I listen to and I don't think it's some horrible song..but I mean it's kinda immature. I saw the video...and it's kinda stupid too.

I agree, it just didn't seem at all like the video meant anything, and her vocals aren't that great, I don't know, it seems as if her voice has changed since I last heard her, but just like Breakdown, I don't really listen to her, and the song isn't horrible, it just doesn't mean anything, and I don't like meaningless, pointless songs.

Yeah, I meant, in this case, if the song is going to be crappy and have no meaning I'm not gonna like it, if the vocals are incredible, and the song has no meaning, I'll probably still like it, and vice versa, if the vocals ain't so great, but the song has a reallly good meaning I'll like it. And of course if it has both I'll fall in love with it, but if it has neither like Avril's song, I'll most likely fall asleep or boo the song while watching the video or listening to it. :) (of course I wouldn't listen to it unless asked to, like here, or now, since I've heard the "new" Avril, someone would probably have to force to me to listen to her, and not to hurt the feelings of any Avril fans, but I'd choose a slow, painful torturous death over listening to an Avril song.)
