Not exactly sure where this would go, but, I am going on two three night trips with my school. Both are gonna have four guys per room with two beds. I would be just fine sharing with whoever, as we are just there to sleep. However, past experience tells me they some of them may be uncomfortable. Should I just offer to share a bed out right, or do I just let them work out the arrangements? What have y'all done in the past?
Thanks!!!

i would ask the hotel if they have cots first. then if they don't, approach the sharing situation. maybe say, i don't mind sharing, but if you aren't comfortable i don't mind taking the floor. or something like that. also, try getting in the same room as someone you are close with. maybe talk to them in advance and see how they feel. if they are ok with it, talk to your teacher and let them know your friend and you want to be roomed together because you'd be comfortable with sharing a bed for sleeping arrangements. hope that helps.

I could see that this would be awkward. Especially if you badly know the other person. I'm surprised a school would do that

My school does it twice a year for Model UN trips that I go to.
As to OP, I'd go on the assumption that you are sharing. When I went this year we didnt even think about anything other then sharing, but then again I go to an all guys school so our attitudes are a bit more flexible.

It will go as far as you intend to go, bounderies are actually not drawn, not that im inciting any form of sexual activity, but it can be as clean as just a resting zone, but it can be as wild as your imaginating can take you.
Its all a matter of perspective.
Not everyone is actually comfortable with someone else on the bed, but at camps we dont really have much of a choice.
Camps are made for bonding ( no pun intended ) and teamwork and stuff.
I'd suppose you should just go with the flow.
In generally nothing would go explictly wrong.
Always expect the unexpected, but then again, it all depends on self discipline.

I've been on several school trips and that is always how we do it. Everyone just always shares. I guess we never thought of making someone sleep on the floor! We can always sign up for rooms so we sign up with friends and then its no big deal. Although one of my friends has a reputation as a major blanket hog so whenever I'm in a room with him we end up flipping coins to see who has to share with him.

You just gotta act like it won't be awkward, and then it won't be. I had to do this when I went on my trips with ROTC to Florida and Hawaii, and it's fine. We all just got into the hotel and chose a bed and put our stuff on the side we wanted, and whoever took the other side was gonna be the one to share.
If you don't have a preference as to who to share a bed with, I would let them make the arrangements and you just go along with them, that way if someone really is uncomfortable with the whole sleeping together arrangement, at least they can be the one to pick how it could be the least uncomfortable for them.

If the other guys are comfortable sharing share , if not maybe top and tail so it won't be as awkward or , take a sleeping bag and you sleep in that on the bed so your not under the same duvet

I wouldnt offer out right because it might make them more uncomfortable because they might think you like like them or wanna do sumthing to them even tho thats not the case but if you are gonna offer do it when there trying to figure out the arrangements
hope this helped

We don't do 2 to a bed on school trips, we normally all have our own single bed

I have been on a few trips and in most instances, we have just shared the bed, no big deal. Just stick to one side and everyone is fine. Most guys know this going in so there is no shock. It's expected. As for a few people who weren't cool with it... I know they ended up either taking the floor or a couch or rotating through somehow.

I have done this several times and never had a problem. Can be a ball of fun. Most of the time I know the other boy and have slept with him at a sleepover.

When this happens, I say "I'm taking this bed. Either sleep next to me or on the floor." Nice and to the point.

I don't see why should sharing a bed be a problem. When we would go on a trip we usually united two beds together and got place for a third person to avoid going back and forth between rooms. You're on a trip to have fun and speeping should be a need. It's not like sleeping means having sex automatically...

Really only works if you have seniority on the other kids. For example, I have to room with 3 freshman this year for my Model UN trip, So I will be grabbing one bed and telling them to figure out their problems.
