First of all: my name is michael, i am an 18 year old guy.

Fuck. my life sucks. first of all , a therapist has said i probably have depression. my parents wont let me take meds. also, i just got back from my 6 week long college summer semester. i failed a class and lost weight. so now they are blaming my weight loss on my prescription med (not for depression, for adhd). and so they are taking me off cold turkey and now my depression is 100 times worse and feel so tired and shitty from the withdrawals. ) they hid my med from me as they dont trust me. they are not letting me go back to college next semester. i have 0 appetite , but its not from the med because i still dont have an appetite and i never have an appetite even when im not taking it. and they are going to tell the doc to get me off the med for good.

i am 18 years old. but unfortunataly being 18 is not all that its cracked up to be. they can refuse to pay for college, and even if i get a job i cant pay for college myself because id likely still need financial aid and the FASFA bases your aid on your parents income till age 24 and my parents have money.......

also my parents wont let me go to the doc by myself, so even though i have the right to not let them be in the room, if i exercise that right they wont pay for the med anyways.

also , i dont have a license and havent learned to drive. and they dont want me to get a job, and i live far away from any where, so i cant walk to a place that could hire me. i also have aspergers which makes me have no friends ,etc. so basically living at home is like house arrest , only it is worse than house arrest because i constantly get prodded and yelled at 24/7. now i cant even get my med, and its cold turkey, i told my parents that is bad and that i have withdrawl, but they are like "oh well, who cares". and act so cold about it.
getting pulled out of school is going to completely derail everything in my life, even if i go back to school id have to transfer and everything and would probably only get into this school thats close in town , they would probably go "oh , since its so close, we could probably just drive you to class everyday , that way we dont have to pay for a dorm" and id have to live at home for the next 4 years and would have no chance at transferring from that school thats in my town to a good grad school.
