Yes, I love both of them but I have to admit that the original is better.

I've gotten tired of hearing that song a thousand times at my school, on the radio, and everywhere in general. So no, I do not like it. It's overplayed. There's nothing special about it at all.

Pretty much this. If I ever hear it again I'll slam someone's head in with a hammer followed up by a hatchet.

I got tired of hearing it too, and I like Journey. I see nothing special in it.

I like the song. But I'm not a real big fan of Journey.

Journey is actually one of my favorite bands, but I'm not really a fan of that particular song. It's really overplayed and not as great (in my opinion) as some of their other songs.

I don't know Journey at all other then song, but its always been one of my favorites. I just enjoy the song, and at least in my group of friends we randomly break out into it.

If you want a good song by Journey, look up the song "Of a Lifetime". But Don't Stop Believing was just pretty much destined to become way over used.

These and other people.

It was a good song, until they played it to death, like Stairway to heaven and Rolling in the Deep, and We will Rock You.

inb4 Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody.

Personally, I really, really, hate Glee. I tried to watch that show, but when I heard them do that song, and then a song by Bon Jovi, I threw up my hands and accepted that this society is ruled by idiots. Kids are only gonna get into the songs that were hits of the 80's. The 80's has way more fantastic and talented groups than just the ones you hear on your radio, sometimes you find the sweetest gems, just be looking a bit..That song used to be really incredible until that queer ridden group, Glee. Stamped their hipster emblem on it and ruined that song for me, forever.

Journey was a good group, Steve Perry was an is the only lead singer I'll respect, I saw them live in 08 and I'll never see them again. I am pitifully sorry you had to listen to this song at it's downfall but Glee is a despicable group and should be cancelled. I'm not even mad. Just disappoint.

Damn straight. Its a good song, but overrated nowadays. PS, I think the Glee version ruins it.

What about Nu Shooz, Go West, Oingo Boingo, Red Rider, Glass Tiger, Real Life, Pretty Poison and Godly & Creme?

I'm your VT 80's freak. There's plenty of music to dig from the 80's. You mentioned some decent bands, but if you want to jam out to good 80's tunes, PM me.

The biggest body of work from Kansas and Boston are from the 70s (when they were just starting out). Aerosmith and Bruce Springsteen had a lot of their work in that decade also. GNR was/is the stereotypical 80s hair/glam metal.

Doesn't change that they're good.

I never personally liked them. It all honestly sounds the same to me. They're catchy, but nothing really more than that.

"Some will win, some will lose, and some are born to sing the blues..." I love that song. I also like "Faithfully" and "Separate Ways" by Journey. They have a new album out, I've not checked it out yet. Their last one was pretty good.

I still think Don't Stop Believin' is suuuuuuuuch an overrated song. I love the 80s and this song even bores me.
