First date

So there is this guy I am interested in that I met through a mutual friend of ours. He's interested in me also and we have quite a few common interests. Do you think I should ask him out based on the common interests or just a generally known date (coffee, movie, et cetera)?

For first date? anywhere u feel comfortable lol. Movies are usually good. Common, but good.

The bad thing about movies is that we (Two people that are interested and want to know more about each other) would be sitting quietly for two hours. I'm all for seeing the movie any other time, but not when I could spend the time getting to know him better

well, if theres a movie theater at a mall around ur area you could walk around the mall before/after the movie.

Going around the mall is my usual date, but for him I was wanting something more personal

I would go to a coffee shop or like a Starbucks or something! Its a great way to get to know someone on a personal level without getting too intimate for a first date!

what are your common interests? try build on that to create a great first date on which you could get to know him, and he you, and yet your both still bound to enjoy yourselves. x
