Too bad Bachmann is pure evil. That woman is probably the greatest enemy of freedom that the United States has seen in decades.

I'm supporting Paul, but my real vote would go towards whoever the Libertarian Party nominates.

Ron Paul.I've been for him since 09.He seems to be the one for locally controlled government,he seems to be the only one who has stayed with his views, and he seems like the only one who makes any sense.

You watch too much MSNBC, lol. We just disagree, which is perfectly fine. It is early still and I'm sure that many things will happen between now and then, let's see what happens in the early straw polls and readdress this in a few months. I would vote for Cain before Paul.

The last paragraph says it best:

The lesson is simple. Michele Bachmann, because she is a principled anti-establishment conservative who not only talks the talk but walks the walk, is a real threat to the establishment left in particular. An attractive anti-feminist woman who is a Christian and is not afraid to be part of our revolution to take Washington apart at the seams, she could well be the next president of the United States. And, not only is the left scared, so much so that it will disgrace itself by mocking a highly intelligent, well-educated and experienced straight female who believes in individual freedom and the vision of our Founding Fathers, it is catatonic. This in and of itself tells us who the next Ronald Reagan could well be.

The difference between Ronald Reagan and Michele Bachmann, is that Reagan never made himself appear to be a hypocrite.

It's Bachmann's social policies that disgust me. They're anti-freedom, plain and simple. I mean, look at this shit. (http://www.ontheissues.org/house/michele_bachmann.htm) Anti abortion and anti-gay. Flaunts her religion. It's horrible, absolutely horrible. Typical conservative. I don't even watch MSNBC.

An attractive anti-feminist woman who is a Christian

This is a bad thing.

and is not afraid to be part of our revolution to take Washington apart at the seams, she could well be the next president of the United States. And, not only is the left scared, so much so that it will disgrace itself by mocking a highly intelligent, well-educated and experienced straight female who believes in individual freedom and the vision of our Founding Fathers, it is catatonic. If she really believed in individual freedom, she wouldn't be so discriminatory against minority populations and anti-abortion. She wouldn't flaunt her religion in the faces of the people and vote based on her religious views. "Highly intelligent?" "Well-educated?" Every politician can claim that. Just because you have a college degree doesn't make you smart. It's the positions you take that make you intelligent, and Bachmann's are just fucking stupid.

Bachmann supports both a federal and state constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage and any legal equivalents. In 2004, the Star Tribune reported that Bachmann said of people who are gay, lesbian, bisexual, or transgendered, "We need to have profound compassion for people who are dealing with the very real issue of sexual dysfunction in their life and sexual identity disorders".

Bachmann is pro-life and has been endorsed in her runs for Congress by the Susan B. Anthony List and Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life; at a debate among presidential candidates in New Hampshire, when asked if abortion should be allowed in cases of rape or incest, Bachmann responded that she is "100 per cent pro-life". In the state senate, Bachmann introduced a bill proposing a constitutional amendment restricting state funds for abortion. The bill died in committee.

Bachmann has praised the Christian youth ministry You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International, appearing as a keynote speaker at their fundraisers

Note that "You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International" is the equivalent of an evangelical youth brainwashing organization.

Every Republican candidate is against individual freedom because their positions on social issues are controlling and based on religion and the concept that government should legislate morality, which is the absolute stupidest modern political ideal ever conceived. Libertarianism is the only position that favors absolute freedom in the social and economic fields. This is why Ron Paul is the ideal candidate.

Edit: THIS is how fucking stupid Bachmann is:

According to an article in the Stillwater Gazette, a local newspaper in Minnesota, Bachmann supports the teaching of creationism alongside evolution in public school science classes. During a 2003 interview on the KKMS Christian radio program Talk The Walk, Bachmann said that evolution is a theory that has never been proven one way or the other. She co-authored a bill (that received no additional endorsement among her fellow legislators) that would require public schools to include alternative explanations for the origin of life as part of the state's public school science curricula. In October 2006, Bachmann told a debate audience in St. Cloud, Minnesota "there is a controversy among scientists about whether evolution is a fact or not.... There are hundreds and hundreds of scientists, many of them holding Nobel Prizes, who believe in intelligent design."

See? Only a complete idiot would try and introduce the disease of the brain known as creationism into our schools. No person who seriously subscribes to the idea that evolution is "only a theory" that "has never been proven one way or the other" should be elected president.

Fox News? Your right "Fair and Balanced" !! LOL :D

There is not everything I like about her or her candidacy, however, I am for the balanced budget and spending efforts that she is behind. If the elections were today (and I could vote)... I would vote for her or Herman Cain. Her stance on gays and stuff, yes, do not sit well with me and it may be the deciding factor to tip my scale more towards Herman Cain. But I would def vote Republican and whomever the Republican nominee eventually is...

Herman Cain is just as bad as her, except he has a more anti Muslim agenda than her. The Republicans are in favor of freedom of religion, as long as it's Christianity.

If the Republican field is still this weak by January, I think I'll skip the presidential election and stay with Congressional and local elections. None of the Republicans truly impress me because of the House of Representatives. All these promises were made but how many of them were really kept? It's all talk and no game to back it up. I'd much rather vote for a "socialist" than an empty peanut shell.

This. Even though I can't vote, but oh well.

All I'm seeing from this election so far is Republicans targeting Obama and how they'll fix what he did, but they're not giving me enough reasons why one Republican candidate is different from all the rest in the election.

Id go with Ron Paul. He's a complete nutcase, but a lot of his ideas make sense.

Just to let ya know, Obama is the first president since Calvin Coolidge who never raised any taxes. Reagan also increased the debt by 120%, something that Obama's nowhere close to doing
