A Tribe Called Quest is one of my favorite groups ever. They were very influential and vital to the 90's alt hip-hop and jazz rap scenes. In my opinion, The Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders are some of the best albums in all of music.

I saw the new documentary Beats Rhymes and Life a few weeks ago. It was alright, I enjoyed it because I'm a huge fan but a can't see a lot of other people getting into it that much. Too much about the deterioration of their relationship and not enough about the actual music. Also I was hoping to see some rare footage from the 90s but there wasn't much. Worth it for me though, I didn't feel like my time was wasted.
