Hi i'm 17 and am VERY FAT!
I'm 6' and 227lbs!
I just got a gym membership. I'm going to start working out in september because right now its ramadan(im muslim) and i'm fasting so its not healthy to work out during fasting. The most troubling regions are my chest and belly.
Does anyone have any suggestion for me?
Thanks in advance,
shahrez

Wait until ramadan is over and pump it up. Visit www.bodybuilding.com (http://www.bodybuilding.com/)

It is 80% Diet bud.... Get a nice lifestyle change, don't call it a diet either just makes people cringe, and it is a lifestyle change because you don't want to reach your goal and then stop eating right and go back up. First of all try resistance training....1 min high intensity...1 min low intensity. Then juts try to build up on your physical activity. I would suggest finding a sport. Also im not sure if your into sweets or pop....but if you cut it out I gurentee you that is an easy 5-20 pounds.... I know it is your relgion and all whatever this fast is (sorry not very relgious) But fasting really hurts you bad.... It puts you into survival mode and your bodie shuts down perserving all of your fat, and burning that other stuff for fuel. Thus killing your metabolism...which you already burn so many calories a day just doing nothing....but with a bad metabolism you won't burn as many and the calories you conssume will be turned into more fat....
sorry for any nutritionist who reads and disagrees with any of this, im just going off my memory of what I am trying to learn. I'd like to be a trainer...just need to get this dumb book stuff down and facts haha
