So I dont really know if this is the right section to post this in but we will see.
Me and my twin sister Jelena have been homeschooled basically our whole life, since Elementary school. We have always been shy and we have social problems. Well today we decided we wanted to go to highschool this year. Well my aunt kind of convinced us actually. We both have social anxiety problems and I am afraid haha. An example of my anxiety is that once we went to a youth group and we were both shaking, My hands and legs were. lol
So my question is Whats high school like? How do I make friends? Will we get bullied?
and also is red lipstick okay for Juniors in highschool? I wear it a lot. :)
haha I just need some advice.

Trust me, Home schooled or not High School is scary to almost everyone because it is a HUGE change from (Elementary, Middle, or Homeschooled). But trust me you will NOT get bullied! (Unless you are a jerk and deserve it) Also it's very easy to make friends! Just try and be yourself and you will be fine! (:

I enjoyed high school. The best advice I can give to you is to get involved, join clubs and such. That's the best way to make friends and you'll have your sister with you so it shouldn't be so bad, at least you all will have each other

Well i'm a senior now so I've gone through it all. High school is amazingly fun, and you honestly won't be bullied, you're an upperclassman anyway lol. Making friends is fairly easy too, just be yourself and don't give people a reason to hate you and your last 2 years will fly by easily :P good luck :)

just focus on getting an education. Its easy to get distracted by stupid things that wont matter the secound you graduate Highschool. You'll notice that when you just focus on your studies, the friends, and everything else will just follow it. You dont need to force anything. As for the lipstick, it shouldnt matter. Many people try to fit in all the time, but the people who stride to do that usually have a bad HS experience. Basically just do what you gotta do in HS, and move on with your life. Thts my best advice.

Honestly, it wasn't that big of a change. The people above may feel it was, but it was just another grade. I also went to a new school for my first year of high school, so I know how you feel about social anxiety. Just be calm, be yourself, and everything will be fine. Do what you have to do to feel comfortable, and if that means wearing red lipstick, then by all means, wear red lipstick.
