There are lots of words that have stuck with me that I really wish I could just erase, but a lot of them changed me dramatically. Related to bullying though? The hardest ones were the most simple. Stuff like being called ugly and weird by popular girls never hit me, it was mainly when I was called a slag, or when my sexual orientation got out. My school was never particularly bad about acceptance, but it was just additional dirt they had on me, more to bother me about. And I was only identified bisexual too. That was bad for the first couple months. Then I just toughed it out and turned it around, started acting proud and okay with it and it started to dissipate.

I was made fun of for how emotional I was sometimes as well, your post reminded me of it. It isn't the nicest of things, when you're already upset to begin with then they put you down for getting upset. I can't count how many times I wanted to punch someone in the face throughout school.

honestly there havent been much, i learned at a VERY early age that i dont care what other people think of me, not anyone, the only person whose thoughts about me that i care about are my own. its hard to let go of those feelings i know, but dont worry about other people if they judge you its because they see something in you that they see in them self, and to make them feel better about them feeling that way, they put other people down with these hurtful comments

This is a good thread, I was just thinking about this the other day. Sure I have had a lot of experiences in life that have shaped me to be the person I am. I tend to wonder how I may be different if certain things did not happen.

As far as people saying thing to me, I am sure there are plenty, But what annoys me the most is when strangers ( or anyone for that matter) talk to you with a certain level of arrogance. I have had more anyone really should have of those experiences. I think it has made me a little bitter.( have a bitter attitude toward people)


I think the more curious or unusual comments I have received , again from strangers, people I have never met before or again is ....." I should kill you" :eek:or something along those lines. Just random strangers, who walked up to me and said that and walked away, I didn't do anything. I wasn't really mad or hurt..., more shocked and surprised.:eek:
