I think the Guy's Puberty 101 forum is too clustered. Half of the new threads are the same thing! All they have to do is look for 10 seconds and they will find what they are looking for! I don't know what can be done, but I think it would help.

VT is a great place. Let's attempt to make it better.

Erm, what are you actually trying to suggest? If you have no ideas then don't post in suggestions.

You just now noticed?

Most of it is just people who are curious about something.
P101 is a difficult section to moderate, I've heard. I have a suggestion for you:
You can help the staff.
If you see 2 threads that are completely the same, then report the newer one and include a link to the older.

I really don't see why they can't just read the stickies tbh.

"Oh I wonder about ______. May as well make a new thread though there's 2,000 others!"
Hmmm, those stickies are out to help ya. Use them.
Makes the VT world less cluttered. :)

Ya P101 was annoying to moderate for that reason alone.
Everyone is so concerned about their situation and never thinks that people here may also have the same problem and have already posted about it.
But, at the same time, nothing realistic is gonna stop it from happening.

Or, they can look up their question on Bing or Google. The fact is, people want a fast answer to their question. They don't want to spend all their time looking for something that might not even be there, so they just ask it on their own.

Is it really that big of a problem? All you have to do is read the title of the thread and find out if it's repetitive. If it is, don't read it. Simple as that.

After moderating the forum for a few months, you do see many repeated threads.

That being said, this is a help forum, and if they feel that they will gain better help by making a new thread, we can't really stop them. We need to be helpful to those who need help, and they need to be encouraged to make a post if they desperately need help..

Well look who came back. Charlie! :)
But yeah, that sums it all up pretty nicely.
