To spend on any car and you can modify it but you cannot exceed 10,000 dollars. I'll start.

For the car you KBB or something you can find on craigslist or any other site.

2002 4runner - white - great condition - 85000 miles - $9600 on craigslist
1 12inch Alpine type r subwoofer w/ amp and enclosure - $300
Flowmaster exhaust tip -$35
Total = $9935

And i can't find $65 to spend on anything else, maybe a nice car wash and cleaning :)

The rest would go towards speakers (my friend has a 323i and they suck), and a good tune up. If anything was left after than I might get a sub.

This is my favorite generation of the BMW 3 Series. Brilliant looks, reasonably quick, and German.

Well i found a 1993 Porsche 968 for $7,888 with 150,000 miles

I don't think i would tamper much with the engine, for the remaining 2k would go for new high-performance tires (the 968 had notoriously skinny tires, which always boggled my mind) and then i would need new rims, so that would probably eat up my entire budget but i would be quite happy :P

odds are it will be a piece of junk though soooo haha i'd be happy looking at it while it rots in my garage :)

I don't know where you'd get a nice used car for 2 grand. I had a hard time finding cars under $4000. Thats why I bought an $1850 car privately with the knowledge that it will need a new transmission.

1981 Pontiac Trans Am with a rebuilt 388 ci v8, T-Tops, $8k, spend the rest on: 1. New exhaust system from headers back, 2. New sound system, 3. Paint the original gold screaming chicken emblem on the hood like the smokey and the bandit trans am, and 4. gas and, knowing me, speeding tickets...
