Its what you're comfortable with. Personally I wouldn't go over 4 years, my girlfriend is 2 1/2 younger than me.

Most guys say 3 years older- 3years old but it all depends on what a person is comfortable with my girlfriend is a year and and 1 month older than I am and the farthest age difference I've ever had with a gf is 4 years.-BigG

Generally in my opinion, i feel that as long as there is true love, i believe age is always just a number.

Else why would there be 20year olds marrying 40 year olds.
Although these are not common sights, and would definately raise criticism by a few.
But the couple still carried on with what they wanted to do.

All in all whats important is how do you feel for your partner, rather than how old is he/her.

Remember you do not need anyone's permission to love someone, so why bother what people think.

It really depends on the age of the people, My grandparents are around 10 years apart but a 10 year old dating a 20 year old would just be screwed up. For teen years it would probably be best to say no more than 3 years, and in some cases that is really a push.

In theory - Plain math, if you're 12, then the youngest appropriate partner age by this rule is 13 :D No younger!!!

3 years old? :D

But yeah, I think an acceptable difference between teens is something like 2 or 3 years, but once you hit that age 18 mark everything changes... Personally, I think no-one under 18 should be dating anyone over 20.

Depends on the actual age..i mean if its like under 18's then like 2/3 years ? over 18 and an under 18 year old..then ...thats just risky in itself and above 18's then wht the hell ( but not too extreme ):) x
