Are you in recovery? I guess yeah
How are you getting through your recovery or how do you plan to? Already made 3 months, just by taking each day as it comes, staying positive and remembering what I have to lose
Is it very hard for you in recovery/ is it hard for you not to cut? I did a thread on this a while ago, to begin with it was difficult then after a while the thought of SH felt unnatural and it became a lot easier. When times are hard I still have the urge to cut but I hope that will go away altogether.
In the future if your positive you will never cut again, and your in a serious relashionship would you tell your partner? Well, I have some scars so if they asked then I would come clean. But if they didn't ask I wouldn't tell them.
How long have you been in recovery? Don't really know how to answer this. I've been trying to stop and on and off since forever. But I haven't cut in 3 months
(: stay strong hun you are definitley not alone

Are you in recovery?
Kind of. I went 18 days without cutting, but I slipped up last night.
If not do you think you will ever be in recovery?
I plan to quit someday
How are you getting through your recovery or how do you plan to?
I have a friend that I text when I need to cut and I have a small rock that I take with me everywhere. I mess with it when I get the urge to cut.
Is it very hard for you in recovery/ is it hard for you not to cut?
Oh yeah. I think about it all the time.
In the future if your positive you will never cut again, and your in a serious relashionship would you tell your partner?
If I felt it was important or necessary. I might just want to forget about it.

First things first. Recovery is not "I am not cutting anymore". Recovery is "I am willing to make a strong and lasting effort to not cut. I am willing to understand that this will come with slip ups. I am willing to consider myself 'broken' or 'hurt' or 'depressed' so I can fix it." -That- is recovery.
Do you think that recovery is somthing you get out of or are you just always recovering in your whole life? It's your whole life. It's not something that's just "Oh! It's done. Now my life is perfect and normal again". That's the risk you take when you make the first cut.
Are you in recovery? Yes.
If not do you think you will ever be in recovery? N/A
How are you getting through your recovery or how do you plan to? I'm going well, quite honestly. Nights are tough, but I've been almost a week. I'm proud of it, period.
Is it very hard for you in recovery/ is it hard for you not to cut? Of course. But because I'm considering myself in recovery, I need to have the strength.
In the future if your positive you will never cut again, and your in a serious relashionship would you tell your partner? N/A

In the future if your positive you will never cut again, and your in a serious relashionship would you tell your partner? If they asked about the scars, yes.
How long have you been in recovery? Er, In and out since about three months I started. I got into one therapist, she sucked, went to another (I think, I don't remember her much) Then she didn't work out either, and then went about a year and a half without caring, now I'm back in therapy. So far I'm 11 days clean

How long have you been in recovery? I wouldnt say im in "recovery" because i know im going to end up doing it again.. but i have been without self harm for 12 days now.
I dont think i will ever fully "recover" because its always going to be a part of me. Im always going to know i can rely on it to get me through hard times, so i might come back to it. Im going to be in constant recovery, i know that for sure.

Do you think that recovery is somthing you get out of or are you just always recovering in your whole life?
It is most definitely a whole life thing. You dont just get over it. I will take you until the day you die to recover because each day is a new challenge to beat your diseases.
Now to the actual Servay part:
Are you in recovery? Yes
If not do you think you will ever be in recovery? I am in it.
How are you getting through your recovery or how do you plan to? A lot of praying, writing and talking. Im not a super religious person whatsoever but i find that once in a while what comes out of my mouth ends up being a prayer. Also, i write down my emotions a lot either in diary format or in a poem or a song. I also talk to my mom and my best friend about my problems a lot and that helps me. But other than those things, i just keep positive thoughts flowing through my head and although i didnt believe those thoughts at first, i found that the more i thought them, the more i believed them. It takes a lot of time and resistance and strength and just a little hope.
Is it very hard for you in recovery/ is it hard for you not to cut? At first it was all very hard and i kept relapsing but every day i got a little better at recovery. Even now, i still have some days where i feel my wrists tingling and i just want to cut to get rid of that feeling but i dont do it because i chose to get better for someone extremely special in my life and i dont want to let them down.
In the future if your positive you will never cut again, and your in a serious relashionship would you tell your partner? In the future i dont necessarily plan to tell them but if it comes up and they ask about it (because my scars cover my arms) then i will tell them the truth.
How long have you been in recovery?
Ive been in recovery for about 4.5 months now.

-Are you in recovery?
If by recovery you mean am I gonna stop cutting... No. But I'm trying.
-If not do you think you will ever be in recovery?
Sooner or later, I'll have to.
-How are you getting through your recovery or how do you plan to?
I just try to not think about it and try my best to cope with my highs and lows. I'm a violent person so I tend to break things, hit people, as well as myself so it's quite hard. But I'm doing better. It's the food I'm struggling with.
Is it very hard for you in recovery/ is it hard for you not to cut?
Not as hard as it is for me to not eat.(I mean large, large amounts, not eat eat)
In the future if your positive you will never cut again, and your in a serious relashionship would you tell your partner?
It depends on the partner.
How long have you been in recovery?
I recovered for about a year but relapsed a while ago.

Do you think that recovery is somthing you get out of or are you just always recovering in your whole life?I think for every self harmer, self harm will never leave them for good. The urges may be small and far in between but I don't see them ever completely.
Are you in recovery? I'm going to say I am, I have help, and I'm really trying. I have a lot of slip ups, but I'm hoping I'll get there.
How are you getting through your recovery or how do you plan to? Distractions, and if I'm honest professional help as such, even if I didn't want it it's help me so much, that and friends you can't beat friends.
Is it very hard for you in recovery/ is it hard for you not to cut? Extremely I find urges insanely difficult. It's such a natural reaction.
In the future if your positive you will never cut again, and your in a serious relashionship would you tell your partner? I would even if I wasn't positive, I've got too many scars, and there would be too many unexplained things about me.
How long have you been in recovery? I'm not sure I've been saying I'll stop since October, actually thinking about stopping since January, and actually making effort since April.
