Graduation/Debs/Prom dresses ?

Im not sure what you call it where your from ..
In my area we have a graduation, like a way toned down version of prom or debs.
And we wear long dresses.
So, what kinda dress did you wear, or what kind are you thinking about?
And would you order one online?
How much would you be willing to spend?

I'd love a minte green dress, backless with a cream lace collar and pearl detail.
Not everyones style but I like it. :)

Also, me and my friend are considering wearing tuxes, just for a laugh, but I dont think she'd go through with it with me haha

err we tend to have proms. so we tend to wear shorter dresses, but i never order online, or the dress may not fit you when it come. and no more than about £30 cos I have to pay for it :L
the tuxes sounds funny, but this is only something which i guess happens once... so you can either take is as a time to remember because you left in a fit of giggles or because you felt special... its up to you. x

I would most definitely wear a long dress, but something more simple! I would never order online unless I tried it on in the store but they didnt have the color I wanted or something, just because dresses tend to fit differently on every person! I would spend around 100 dollars because there is no reason to go broke for a graduation dress haha

So, what kinda dress did you wear, or what kind are you thinking about? I wore a backless iridescent blue dress with a petticoat and a very high neckline. (don't go conservative; you'll feel like the ugly duckling. I made that mistake.)

And would you order one online? No. When you order online you don't know for sure if it will fit you or whether it will get lost in the mail or something.

How much would you be willing to spend? Around $80

Mine is comming up in 3 years, I would wear a nice puffy, bright colored dress with some sparkle ;D
